My planning towards my final two adverts. I came up with five to help decide which one would be more interesting and fit the  criteria

Tilt shot a camera shot in which the camera angle is deliberately slanted to one side. This can be used for dramatic effect and helps portray unease.

Mid shot captured from around the knees or waist to the top of the head, you  can’t see their entire body, but we are close enough to establish a primary connection with the person.

Over the shoulder shot can be used to show a relationship between another persona and a subject.

Establish shot Sets the scene to the audience and shows where it is set.

Long shot  using this shot it shows the person at a distance, it often creates the feeling that they are being dominated by the surroundings.

Two shot This shot includes two people. It shows the relationship between the two characters and can suggest an equal and unequal relationship
Extreme close up Helps show the audience that the detail, gesture or movement is significant and draws more attention to it

Welcome to my blog!

I haven't studied Media Studies therefore thought to give something new a try as I've always had an interest in how film is made. I'm looking forward to finding out how film is made as I don't really know how it is created.

In these  two years I'm looking forward to using a camera with knowledge of the different shots, being able to have an insight into what makes a film good and being able to be creative.
I  need to produce 2 TV adverts that are both 30 seconds long.
